Always use fluor bulbs or energy efficient bulbs whenever possible because they provide more lighting for less cost.

Use light colors in the rooms, for the walls ceilings and drapes, so that the lighting is utilized better.

Keep the lighting devices clean and remember to turn off any lighting devices when not in use.
